SAFETY AND HEALTH POLICY STATEMENT
PT. EIN Indonesia is totally committed to safety in the performance of its work and rank safety as foremost priority alongside quality, timely completion, cost effectiveness and environmental integrity as primary objectives.
The management committed to develop, implement and maintain an effective safety management system in each locality, as well as in the enterprise level.
We target to achieve a high standard of safety and compliance with relevant statutory regulation and contractual obligations regarding safety and health The management also requires all site personnel to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of the Project Safety & Health Plan and to commit themselves to safety objectives in their everyday work activities, ensuring the risk are identified in advance and that the control measure are introduced into the programming of work.
Safety is everyone's business and each individual is fully responsible to do the safe work and to have continually improvement on safety performance. Safety training will be provided to all levels ensure that they are competent to carry out their work.
The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of Safety & Health Policy at each particular site and allocates sufficient resources for achieving the safety objectives.
The Health & Safety Manager and Supervisor Staff shall ensure the safety and health of all people, included all general workers, who may be affected by the project operations.
The performance of employees with respect to safety will be a considered during evaluations for promotion and salary adjustment. Any employee who is founds to be deliberately and consistently in breach of safety regulations and instructions may be subject to summary dismissal.
Subcontractors are also responsible for ensuring their health and safety obligations and given highest priority in matter of design for work methods, materials and equipment.
This policy is the direct concern of Senior Management and will be review from time to time when necessary, or at least once every six months.
